This was my latest to my kids away,

Dear Elder & Sister Hansen and all my kids away,
Except for harvest, this is one of the busiest times of the year for me. A lot to get done in a month window of time (layering, pruning, stake & trellis repair, wrapping & tying canes, raking off berms, and cutting off stumps). But I did have some things to share real quick;
This was the poem that Elder Hansen requested:
Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening by: Robert Frost
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of the easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
From "You Come Too", 1916
I tried to find a quote from Pres Benson about “this generation must be prepared to meet God”, but I could not find it. I found 20 places where he stated, “prepare to meet God”, but none where he had that phrase connected with “this generation must”.
I do not know if any body said it yet, but [Your brother, "D"] was selected to the "First Team All League Defense" at Linebacker. Which is quite an honor.
Sister Hansen, your letters seem more and more to resemble the latest edition of a "Mission Impossible" episode, with all your dealings with (and ditching of) the police/military. It makes our prayers for all our missionaries that much more intense!
FYI, they just combined the Oakhurst & Coarsegold Wards, and called the new one the "Yosemite Ward". Bishops M & H were released and the new Bishop is Kyle W.
I love you all, & we pray for you constantly.
Jamie
